Solvay has three manufacturing sites in the UK - at Oldbury in the West Midlands, supporting our worldwide leadership position in phosphorus derivatives used in the industry and processing markets, Halifax in Yorkshire, which produces a broad range of products for health, personal and home care as well as the industrial and processing markets and Warrington, Cheshire.

We focus on providing innovative products manufactured safely and with minimum impact on the environment, together with the highest quality of service to meet our customers' requirements.

The Oldbury and Halifax Sites are part of the Novecare business, and were previously managed under the Rhodia name.  Solvay acquired Rhodia in 2011, and from January 2013 UK operations began to be managed under the Solvay brand.
